RTV118 one-component, ready-to-use adhesive sealants are extremely versatile. They cure to a tough, durable, resilient silicone rubber on exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. Acetic acid vapors are released from the sealant surface as a by-product of cure.
RTV118 sealants are self-leveling products which are preferable to paste-consistency sealants when flow into small crevices and hard-to-reach places is desired.
Key Features and Benefits
One-component products
Capability to cure at room temperature and ambient humidity
Self adhesion properties
Low temperature flexibility
High temperature performance
Excellent weatherability and ozone and chemical resistance

LOCTITE® Moly Paste (formerly C-670) contains 65% molybdenum disulfide for maximum lubricity. It is a heavy, black paste with unsurpassed lubricating qualities. Moly Paste reduces friction on threaded fasteners - bolts, nuts, studs - the low and uniform friction coefficient of 0.06 (torque coefficient, k, of 0.11) creates reliable assembly conditions. Lubricant stays in place through heat, load and vibration to insure trouble-free disassembly from -29 to 399ºC (-20 to +750ºF)
Aerospace Adhesive - two component epoxy adhesive
Araldite 420 A/B is a two component, room temperature curing paste adhesive of high strength and toughness.
It is suitable for a wide variety of metal, honeycomb and fibre reinforced composite bonding applications. It has very high shear strength even at temperatures up to 70°C and good peel strength.
Typical uses include:
- bonding inserts, ferrules, aluminium and composite edge members, joining strips, etc, in both metallic and non-metallic honeycomb sandwich structures.
- Fabrication of composite components using the cut and fold technique.
Silcoset 158 is a ready-to-use adhesive sealant, which reacts with atmospheric moisture to form a resilient rubber, which remains
flexible over a very wide temperature range. Silcoset 158 liberates a very small amount of acetic acid during cure which gives rise to the familiar “vinegar” odour, which quickly dissipates after cure. These high specification sealants are ideal for a myriad of engineering applications from production work to fast, effective maintenance and on-the-spot repairs. They are applied directly from the cartridge and cure at room temperature. Under typical ambient conditions they develop a tack free surface in approximately 15 minutes and cure within 24 hours.
Silcoset 151 is a ready-to-use adhesive sealant paste that cures on exposure to air to a resilient silicone elastomer. Its combination of ease of application, excellent adhesion, durability, versatility and good electrical properties has established Silcoset 151 for applications in every type of industry.
Silcoset 153 is a ready-to-use adhesive sealant paste that cures on exposure to air to a resilient silicone elastomer. Its combination of ease of application, excellent adhesion, durability, versatility and good electrical properties has established Silcoset 153 for applications in every type of industry.
Silcoset 152 is a ready-to-use adhesive sealant paste that cures on exposure to air to a resilient silicone elastomer. Its combination of ease of application, excellent adhesion, durability, versatility and good electrical properties has established Silcoset 152 for applications in every type of industry.
BOSTIK 2402 is a solvent-borne formulation based on polychloroprene rubber. It is used in conjunction with
BOSTIKURE D CURING AGENT* as a TWO PART, cold curing adhesive system which has a wide range of
industrial applications. It gives strong resilient bonds which exhibit good resistance to water, heat, humidity,
etc.
Castrol Molub-Alloy™ Paste White RV (previously named previously named Optimol™ Paste White RV)is excellently suited for all assembly work as well as for thin-film lubrication. White, almost colorless when applied as thin layer, the paste prevents fretting corrosion and facilitates assembly and disassembly. It is resistant to hot and cold water and protects against corrosion.
STYCAST 2651-40 W 1 is a two component, easy to use, low viscosity, epoxy encapsulant with excellent adhesion to metals, plastics and ceramics. Its viscosity at room temperature is approximately 30 Pa.s prior to addition of catalyst. Viscosity will decrease by elevation of temperature to 40°C. Standard colour is black, but colour coding is possible. The cured material can be readily machined with carbide tools.
Sur-Prep® AP-1 is an adhesion promoter that can be used in the place of scuff sanding between coats of paint. Sur-Prep® AP-1 helps to re-activate the surface of the paint for subsequent coats to be applied. It can also be used for enhancing the adhesion of paint used for stenciling to topcoats. Sur-Prep® AP-1 is also used for increasing adhesion between the basecoat and clearcoat coatings of new basecoat/clearcoat systems. Additionally, Sur-Prep® AP-1 can be used on radome polyurethane boots prior to topcoat application and application over composite parts to provide a continuous surface energy for painting.
RT183 is specifically designed for shield and connector termination in EMC applications.
ROCOL Anti-Seize Stainless (ASC251T) is a specially formulated nickel free paste designed to provide anti-seize properties across a wide temperature range and where low sulphur and chlorine levels are essential. ROCOL Anti-Seize Stainless (ASC251T) has been developed to prevent seizure of components subjected to extremely high temperatures for long periods. It is particularly suitable for use on stainless steel; nimonic and silver coated fasteners found in the Aerospace and Power Generation industries.
A white grease paste suited for long-term lubrication for metal parts and for assemblies.
Akemi Poly Fiber is a 2 component filler based on unsaturated polyester resins with glass fibres, dissolved in styrene.
EA9203 is an adhesive bonding primer which enhances adhesion on poorly prepared surfaces. Since it is a non-curing primer, it requires only a room temprature drying to be ready for bonding. It is especially well suited for use with room temprature curing paste adhesives.
Ideal for quick repairments to metal, polyester, wood and plastics.
CB200 acrylic structural adhesive is a two-part thixotropic paste adhesive capable of bonding a wide variety of metals, engineering thermoplastics, and composites.
