XIAMETER PMX-200 Silicone Fluid is a polydimethylsiloxane fluid commonly used as a base fluid in personal care products due to its excellent spreading and unique volatility characteristics. It is clear, tasteless, essentially odorless and nongreasy. Unlike other volatile carriers used in the personal care industry, this volatile silicone fluid does not cool the skin when it evaporates, a consequence of its unusually low heat of vaporization.
Commercial bulk-polymerized dimethyl silicone fluids, such as XIAMETER PMX-200 Silicone Fluids, typically contain trace amounts of impurities.
CRC Extreme Duty Silicone is a premium grade silicone fluid with excellent lubrication and temperature viscosity characteristics. It leaves a thin, clear, odourless film that chemically reacts with metal surfaces to provide lubrication properties far superior than conventional silicone lubricants.
As CRC Extreme Duty Silicone is a silicone lubricant, it will resist moisture in damp environments, providing long-lasting lubrication, and extreme temperature and pressure resistance. It is effective from effective from -38°C to +316°C and can withstand 1200lbs (Falex Test).
Designed for high pressure and high temperature applications on metal and non-metal surfaces, CRC Extreme Duty Silicone reduces friction and galling even on metal-to-metal contact areas. Won’t melt or freeze.
Hylosil 310 silicone sealant. Developed for high temprature applications.
Several different curing agents are available for two-component RTV silicone rubber compounds to provide a choice of cure speed, mixing ratio, or deep section cure.
